American Jeff Gloger has quickly gained a name for himself within the basketball ranks of Queensland after an explosive performance in Round 2 of the QABL. He takes out the Player of the Week Award after grabbing 41 points, 16 rebounds, 9 assists and 3 steals, only a fraction off a triple-double for the Rockets opening home game for the season. It wasn’t an easy task in the face of a very tough Townsville team, and as a result he has quickly become a crowd favourite in Rockhampton. He helped to move the team into their 2007 campaign successfully and will prove a real asset, playing alongside Tragardh, Thompson and Bullock.
