Once again we are running a Warehouse Competition- this will commence on Monday 27th November 2007.

· Nominations close on 20th November. This is just to give us teams to commence games with. If you find after that date that you wish to play – phone the office and we will slot you into the draw.
· Games will be played on the Outside courts and once the final of fixtures are finished we will endeavor to play as many teams as we can in the Stadium.
· There are no winners or losers in this competition – you are here to enjoy yourselves and have fun.
· If you want to get serious – see Del in the office and put your name down to play fixtures in 2007. The clubs are always looking for players.

WAREHOUSE BASKETBALL
COMPETITION

Warehouse Basketball is a social. Competition and there is no necessity to know how to play the game to participate. The competition will be held this
November to January at the Hegvold Stadium Complex. The Warehouse Competition is an excellent opportunity for those people interested in learning how to play the game.
Nominations are called for the following teams:
· Mens
· Mixed (combined men &women with only two men being allowed on the court at any one time. (Substitutions allowed)
· Copy of rules attached

Nominations close 20th November with games commencing on Monday 27th November 2005.

COURT FEES:

$30.00 per team per game
No nomination fee or gate fee.

FIXTURE NIGHT:
Monday night

REFEREES: A qualified referee will be
supplied for each game, however you must
supply your own scorer.

UNIFORMS: Each team must be in uniform
e.g. singlets or t-shirts, however they must be numbered.

NUMBER OF PLAYERS: The maximum number of players allowed per team is 10.

TIMING OF GAMES: 20 minutes per half
(clock does not stop). 5 minutes at half time. No timeouts in the last 3 minutes of second half.
LAST GAME: Monday January 29th 2007 RBI supplies prizes for every team on this night.

PLEASE NOTE: No games will be played during the Christmas break (Monday 25th December 2006 and Monday 1st January 2006) Games recommence Monday 8th January 2006.

THE BAR AND CANTEEN WILL BE IN OPERATION DURING THE NIGHT OF PLAY.
